Avalia Boca Raton was re-introduced to the South Florida market in the summer of 2018, with their beautifully re-designed and highly amenitized apartments. Staycation, anyone? Yes, please!
We were brought into collaborate on the renaming of the community, and the subsequent development of a brand that would match and attract the desired the clientele.
The logo is both structural and floral, speaking the language of “resort” and “East Coast structure” at the same time. That feel is carried through the brand, evoking visions of a home that is sun-filled, laid-back and comfortable.
The Taylor Uptown said a new “hello” to the prestigious Uptown neighborhood of Dallas in Spring of 2018 with completely reimagined social spaces and beautifully renovated apartments and penthouses. Yes, I said penthouses.
We were lucky enough to be engaged on developing a brand that would better represent what The Taylor Uptown has the offer and the demographic they wanted to attract.
With the logo, our goal was “minimal with impact,” and this custom monogram paired with modern serif and sans serif fonts is just that. The brand palette is neutral, with a pop of color from a nice, leafy green. Seeing this carried through in the brochure, the brand ties together nicely and conveys that this is a place people will be proud to live.
Vesty Park is a hidden gem of an apartment community smack dab between downtown Denver and Sloan’s Lake (and right down the street from Mile High Stadium!). They underwent a huge renovation of both the individual residences and shared social spaces in 2018, and we were lucky enough to be tasked with the rebrand.
We were part of the team that took them from a new name to a new look, with the hope of speaking more directly to the highly coveted millennial audience. We went big and bold with the colors, and “fun” with the logo. Oragami, anyone?
Our Vesty bird has quickly become a fan favorite, bringing a little bit of whimsy into the world of apartment leasing. And that element and it’s layered block coloring carried effortlessly through the rest of the brand.
Since 2007, we’ve had the pleasure of designing Hero Cards for Shell/Pennzoil/Quaker State drivers in NASCAR, Indy, F1 and NHRA.
What are Hero Cards, you ask?
Think big, 8” x 10” baseball cards that fans collect and drivers sign. They showcase the driver and his/her career, as well as the team they race for, and they give a little shout out to the sponsor.
In 2018, we came up with a “lightning fast energy” theme for Joey Logano and Heli Castroneves. For 2019, with Logano as the Champion, we focused on that career milestone. The 22 car for NACAR and the 3 Car for Indy - here we go, race fans! Boogity Boogity Boogity!
In 2017, we were tasked with the unique opportunity to create a brand and design a book for the sale of a luxury home in Vail, CO. The idea was to showcase the Vail lifestyle and comforts of home, creating a brand that felt minimal yet upscale.
In tackling the logo design, we thought a lot about how this “logo” would likely become a monument address sign when all was said and done. We chose a font that was modern, slightly stylized and easy to read.
And that translated into the design of the book, which was heavy on pictures and light on copy. Pictures sell Vail better than words ever could! We sourced photography, created a map of the area and did a lot of work to clean up floor plans. Combine that with beautiful renderings of what this house would be, the linen cover and pop of surprise with the silver foil on the logo - you have yourself a real estate bestseller.
(We handled the production of this book as well, looking to Paper Chase Press for the win!)
We were tasked with creating a new catalog for Energie Lighting, a high-end lighting company in the Denver-metro area. They already had a strong brand, so we took it to the next level with this 144-page catalog.
Looking to their website, existing collateral and competitors for inspiration, and working closely with the CMO, we handled everything from concept to completion: concept design, overall layout, photo selection, photo correction, copy editing, rework/recreation of technical drawings, and print management. In the end, we were on-time and well within budget - a win-win for everyone!
Designing logos is our jam. We love it. Here is a sampling of what we’ve come up with over the years.
We were brought into collaborate on the creative for the Annual Report for Ag Valley, an agricultural co-op located in Edison, NE. As with most companies during this time, Ag Valley was challenged with wanting to project an optimistic outlook after the close-out of 2019.
We first designed them a logo for their virtual annual meeting, “Building Tomorrow Together.” That theme then carried over into their annual report, and is also featured on their website.
Scope of work included concept design, page layout, creation of charts and icons, and delivering a print-ready and web PDF for distribution.
We were engaged to collaborate on a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Report for Techstars, a company located in Boulder, CO that strives to empower communities to grow and sustain a vibrant startup economy. This report was a continuation of their ongoing efforts in the area of diversity.
Scope included concept design, page layout, creation of icons and infographics, project management, and delivery of a digital file for distribution.
In 2016, we were lucky enough to be asked to collaborate on the design of the Denver Hospice Annual Report. Talk about inspirational! It was amazing to read the stories of what Denver Hospice does and how grateful the community is for what the organization provides.
Scope included concept design, page layout, creation of icons, charts and infographics, project management, and delivery of print and digital files for publishing and distribution.
